Description: Visual Importer ETL Enterprise is a platform for building high performance data integration solutions, Including extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) packages for data warehousing and business automation. Visual Importer ETL Enterprise includes graphical tools and wizards for building and debugging automation packages; Plus automation of business processes such as FTP, Email: POP3 and SMTP, File operations, SQL scripts, Zip and Unzip, ETL Task scheduler and comprehensive logging. Full support for Excel, MS Access, DBF, XML and Text files, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Interbase/Firebird, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite or any ODBC compliant database.
Here is simple usage example: Download files from an FTP server, load them into the database, run stored procedure or SQL script and send email to the admin, once the package is completed. Unlike Oracle SQL loader, BCP, DTS or SSIS, Visual Importer Enterprise can also add new and update old records based on user defined primary key.
Let's say, for example, you work at university and must publish results of exams from different departments. Visual Importer Enterprise can help you automate data processing without the need for more staff. It will enable you to process data sent via email and FTP without user intervention.
